Freedom Social Media Content Use Terms and Conditions

1.  By permitting Freedom to use particular Content (by affirmatively answering a request from us or on our behalf on social media or otherwise indicating your agreement for Freedom to use your Content), you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read and ensure you are in agreement before proceeding.

2.  In these Terms "Content" refers to the photo (or, where applicable, the photo and/or video, including any sound) and accompanying text posted through your account on social media, accompanying metadata such as time and place of creation, your user name, and links to your social profile.

3.  You grant Freedom a right to use and display the Content, in any media, worldwide, for any lawful commercial purpose, in original or edited form, including: on freedom social media accounts, websites, blogs, digital displays, advertising, and generally in the promotion of Freedom products or services. Such rights also extend to Freedom subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, employees, representatives, assigns, licensees, and anyone else acting on behalf of Freedom.

4.  Freedom's right to use your Content lasts indefinitely until canceled by you, which you can do at anytime by emailing marketing@freedom.com.au. After Cancelation we will not reuse your Content.

5.  The rights you grant Freedom are non-exclusive and (subject to Freedom rights herein) you retain all rights to use the Content for your own purposes. Freedom will not pay any royalties or compensation to you or any third party for use of Content. Use is at Freedom's discretion and Freedom is not obliged to use your Content in any particular way or at all.

6.  You agree that you do not have any right to review, approve, or object to Freedom Australia's use of your Content or advertising copy, or to be identified as the author/creator of the Content.

7.  Freedom Australia respects applicable laws and the rights of others and wishes to avoid using any content that does not. By agreeing to these Terms you represent and warrant to Freedom that: 
    (a) the Content is your original work and you own it and all intellectual property rights in it and have all necessary rights to grant Freedom the rights set out in these Terms (including in relation to copyrights, trademarks, private or public buildings, performances, sounds, and music) or, if you are not the owner of such rights, you have already obtained permission from the owner of suchs rights, and will inform us if this is incorrect or such permission is withdrawn at any time;
    (b) Freedom's use of your Content as provided herein will not infringe intellectual property, privacy, image, performance, or publicity rights, or any other rights of any third party, require the payment of any compensation to any third party, or breach any applicable laws;
    (c) nothing in your Content will be illegal, defamatory, obscene, or threatening to any third party; and
    (d) you are over 18 years of age and have the right to agree to these Terms;

8.  You will hold Freedom harmless and indemnify Freedom against any actions, loss and damage arising out of any claims by third parties in connection with Content, including for breach of intellectual property, data protection, privacy, image, performance, or publicity rights. 

9.  The Content may contain information about you or identifiable individuals which constitutes personal data under applicable laws.

10.  By agreeing to these Terms you give your consent to the processing of such personal data by Freedom for the purposes set out in these Terms.

11.  Freedom will process personal data included in the Content or otherwise provided to us in connection with our use of the Content in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy available here: https://www.freedom.com.au/freedom-privacy-policy.

12.  Freedom is the controller of your personal data and individuals can obtain further information or exercise any of their legal rights by contacting Freedom at :privacy@greenlitbrands.com.au. Freedom also engages data providers or service providers to assist with the processing of personal data, including Qubeeo Limited, located in the UK, who provides content curation, hosting, showcasing, and analytics services.

References to Freedom are to Freedom Furniture Australia Pty Limited ABN 55 051 493 764.

myFreedom Mother’s Day Gift On Us Competition – $1,000 Freedom Prize

Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the myFreedom Mother’s Day Gift On Us Competition for the opportunity to win a Freedom prize valued at $1,000 ("Competition") is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Promoter

2. The Promoter is Freedom Furniture Australia Pty Limited, Level 4, 1 Epping Road North Ryde NSW 2113 (“Promoter”).

Competition Period

3. The Competition commences at 9.00am on 22 April 2026 and closes at 5.00pm on 5 May 2026 (“Competition Period”).

Eligibility to Enter

4. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 who are both current existing members and newly registered members of the myFreedom Loyalty program by the closing date of the competition on 5 May 2026.

5. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means spouse, de facto spouse, child, parent, grandparent, sibling or first cousin.

Conditions of Entry

6. To enter the Competition, entrants must, during the Competition Period:

a) join the myFreedom Loyalty program OR already be an existing myFreedom customer.

b) be opted in to Freedom marketing communications.

c) fill out the relevant form and provide all details as requested, including full name, email address, phone number and answer question in 25 words or less; and

d) remain a myFreedom member as at the date of judging.

7. By entering the Competition, you consent to receive marketing communications from Freedom. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe function.

8. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Competition database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.

Mother’s Day Gift On Us Competition – myFreedom Members

9. The myFreedom Mother’s Day Competition will run for a period of 14 days in the lead up to Mother’s Day.

10. To enter, customers must be subscribed to Freedom marketing communications and complete the entry form online within the promotional period.

11. Three (3) winners will be selected, with each winner receiving one (1) Freedom prize valued at $1,000.

12. Each prize includes a $500 Freedom gift card and $500 worth of curated Freedom homewares.

13. All homewares included in the prize are preselected by Freedom and cannot be exchanged or substituted.

14. Each prize will contain a similar curated product assortment as featured in campaign marketing materials.

15. The prize is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

Judging

16. Winners will be selected based on the judging criteria outlined in clause 16. Judging will take place at Freedom, 1 Epping Road, North Ryde NSW 2113 at 12.00 noon on 6 May 2026.

17. The winner will be notified by phone and via email within two (2) business days of judging.

18. This is a game of skill. Winners will be selected based on the quality of their responses to the 25-word question.

Prize

19. There are three prizes to be won in total.

20. Each prize comprises a $500 Freedom gift card and Freedom homewares valued at $500. Total prize value is $1,000.

21. The prize will be posted to the winner prior to Mother’s Day, which falls on 10 May 2026.

22. The prize is valued in Australian dollars and is inclusive of GST. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

23. If the winner does not take receipt of the prize within 3 months of being notified, the prize will be forfeited and no cash alternative will be provided.

24. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

25. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.

General

26. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for any loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of participation in the Competition.

27. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising out of the Competition.

28. The Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition if required.

29. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

30. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, including network or system failures, that may affect entry or participation in the Competition.

Privacy
