FREEDOM TRADE MEMBER TERMS & CONDITIONS (Effective 25 March 2026)
MEMBERSHIP
1. Freedom grants Freedom Trade Membership to those applicants who qualify for such membership, including but not limited to interior designers, design firms, developers, architects, purchasing agents and property stylists.
2. In order to qualify for Freedom Trade Membership, you, as the applicant, must:
a. be aged 18 years or older;
b. have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) for your business;
c. have an email address for your membership.
3. A Freedom Trade Member cannot be a myFreedom member or member of staff.
4. The information provided by the applicant must be accurate, current and complete. A Freedom Trade Member is responsible for ensuring the details it provides Freedom remain accurate.
5. In applying to become a Freedom Trade Member, you represent that the individual submitting the application has the authority to bind the applicant and that the applicant qualifies for such membership.
6. On acceptance of their application, Applicants will receive written confirmation of their status as a Freedom Trade Member from Freedom.
7. Freedom Trade Members cannot transfer their Freedom Trade Membership.
8. A Freedom Trade Member can end their membership at any time by contacting Freedom’s Customer Service team at www.freedom-au.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
FREEDOM TRADE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
9. A Trade Member can purchase Standard Goods (both in-store and on our Website) and Trade Member Exclusive Goods (on our Website only) from Freedom. Trade Member Exclusive Goods are sold exclusively to Trade Members.
10. You can make purchases as a Trade Member on our Website by logging in to your Member Profile.
11. Prior to an in-store purchase you must identify yourself as a Freedom Trade Member by quoting your Freedom Trade Member number and/or present your Freedom Trade Member card, as well as give your name and proof of identification.
12. Freedom Trade Members receive an everyday benefit of 15% discount off the full price of Valid Purchases, or 5% discount off the sale price of Valid Purchases where such discount is expressly stated as applying to the particular offer. Note the discounts apply in respect of Standard Goods only.
13. Freedom Trade Members will also receive early notification of upcoming sales and clearances.
14. Freedom may provide other benefits to Freedom Trade Members, which may differ from Freedom Trade Member to Freedom Trade Member, in its sole discretion. For example, Freedom may offer a special discount of 10% off the sale price of products for a limited time.
15. The benefits are not available in conjunction with any other promotional, membership or finance (including Latitude, Afterpay, ZipPay and Klarna) offer, unless otherwise expressly stated in the particular offer.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER CUSTOMER TERM
16. The Freedom Trade Member Terms & Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Freedom Customer Terms & Conditions (available online at www.freedom.com.au/online-customer-terms-and-conditions), subject to the following amendments:
(a) Cancellations: Freedom will not accept the cancellation of a Trade Member purchase.
(b) Freedom Homewares Change of Mind Policy: The Freedom Homewares Change of Mind Policy is not applicable to Trade Member purchases.
(c) Freedom Warranty:
(i) The Freedom Warranty described in the Customer Terms & Conditions applies to Standard Goods only. Trade Member Exclusive Goods are excluded from the scope of the Freedom Warranty.
(ii) The Freedom Warranty will be extended by Freedom to the direct clients of the Freedom Trade Member to whom the Standard Goods were on-sold/provided, subject to the Freedom Trade Member being able to confirm the identity of its client/s to Freedom on request so that Freedom can validate the purchase.
(iii) Freedom will honour all manufacturer warranties for Trade Member Exclusive Goods purchased from Freedom.
17. The 120 Night Mattress Comfort Guarantee (at www.freedom.com.au/120-night-comfort-terms-and-conditions) is not available in conjunction with a Trade Member purchase.
PRIVACY
18. Any personal information you supply to Freedom will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988. For a detailed view of our Privacy Policy, go to www.freedom.com.au/privacy.
19. Freedom may collect personal information from Freedom Trade Members for the purpose of facilitating their Freedom Trade Membership.
20. As a Freedom Trade Member you consent to Freedom contacting you to provide marketing material concerning benefits, special offers, product information and other information relating to Freedom. You can set your contact preferences on our Website at your Member Profile. You can opt out of receiving marketing material at any time.
21. Freedom will communicate to all Freedom Trade Members (including those opted out from marketing materials) by email to send you reminders concerning your Freedom Trade Membership.
GENERAL
22. The Freedom Trade Membership program is available on our Website and at participating Freedom stores in Australia.
23. The Freedom Trade Member represents that it has all the requisite right, power and authority to enter into and be bound by these Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions, and any variation notified to the Trade Member in accordance with these terms.
24. Freedom may amend these Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions from time to time upon giving reasonable notice to the Freedom Trade Members
25. Freedom may, at any time and in its absolute discretion, require a Freedom Trade Member to provide to Freedom proof of identification (in a form requested by Freedom) for Freedom to verify the authenticity of a Freedom Trade Member’s membership and compliance with the Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions. Failure to provide proof of identification may result in termination of the Freedom Trade Membership.
26. Any failure or delay by Freedom in exercising its rights under these terms does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Any waiver by Freedom must be in writing and signed by an authorised officer of Freedom.
27. Nothing in these Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions is intended to contravene any applicable law. To the extent that any provisions in these Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, it is to be read down so as to be valid and enforceable, and otherwise must be severed to the extent of any invalidity or unenforceability, without affecting the remaining provisions of these Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions.
28. Freedom will not accept any liability for any Freedom Trade Member Email or Freedom Trade Member SMS that is misdirected, lost, or not received other than where that occurs as a result of our error or negligence.
29. The Freedom Trade Member acknowledges that the Standard Goods are manufactured for domestic use only, and Freedom warrants that its Goods are suitable for domestic use only. Freedom does not accept liability for any loss suffered by any party as a consequence of the Standard Goods being used for any non-domestic use.
30. Freedom may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Freedom Trade Member program or any aspect of it at its election subject to providing the Freedom Trade Members with reasonable notice.
31. Notwithstanding any other provision, Freedom may cancel a Freedom Trade Membership at any time upon giving reasonable notice to the Freedom Trade Member. What is reasonable will depend on the circumstances. For example, where a Freedom Trade Member has been engaged in fraudulent or malicious behaviour, reasonable notice may be notice with immediate effect.
32. Where notice is required to be given under these Freedom Trade Member Terms & Conditions, the notice must be sent by Freedom in writing to the Freedom Trade Member’s email address.
DEFINITIONS
“Freedom” means Freedom Furniture Australia Pty Limited ABN 55 051 493 764, its related entities and its authorised representatives.
“Freedom Trade Member” means the entity that has a Freedom Trade Membership.
“Freedom Trade Membership” means the benefits available to a Freedom Trade Member on the terms set out in the Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions.
“Freedom Trade Member Emails” means emails that are sent from Freedom to a Freedom Trade Member including emails about their Freedom Trade Membership, special offers, discounts, competitions, and events.
“Freedom Trade Member SMS” means SMS that are sent from Freedom to a Freedom Trade Member including SMS about their Freedom Trade Membership, special offers, discounts, competitions, and events.
“Freedom Trade Member Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions as amended with reasonable notice from time to time.
“Goods” means all goods ordered by the Freedom Trade Member from Freedom, including both Standard Goods and Trade Member Exclusive Goods.
“Member Profile” means the details of the Freedom Trade Member.
“Standard Goods” means goods that are made available for purchase by Freedom to all customers.
“Trade Member Exclusive Goods” means goods that are sold by Freedom exclusively to Trade Members.
“Valid Purchases” means all purchases of Standard Goods except gift cards and purchases at Freedom Kitchens. Services are excluded, for example delivery and design services.
“Website” refers to the Freedom website www.freedom.com.au where details of the Freedom Trade Member program (including the most up to date Terms and Conditions) can be found and where Freedom Trade Members can monitor their membership and Member Profile.
