Rollout of new ‘Order Management Software’ - (OMS) system update

 

As you maybe aware freedom is currently rolling out new ‘Order Management Software’ (OMS) across its Australian and New Zealand operations. It’s been specifically designed to make everyone’s life easier. It will help with the management of stock movements from end-to-end, allocation of stock, and processing and completion of customer orders. This is good news for the both of us!

 

Despite our best efforts for a smooth transition from our old system, we have experienced a number of issues since the beginning of October, which have unfortunately, impacted the fulfilment of some customer orders. Some of which, include home deliveries, availability of stock in-certain areas, and the speed of delivery of new stock.

 

In some positive news; in the past week we have been able to resume deliveries to our customers and are working through a backlog of customer deliveries and resolving customer issues that this transition has created. We unreservedly apologise to any customers who may have been impacted by these issues and please be assured that all of our team members from the stores, the support centre through to our warehouse and delivery teams will be working hard to get that new sofa, bed or dining room table into your home.
