What Terms and Conditions apply to on-line and in-store purchases?

When purchasing online, you will see, and be prompted to accept, our Online Terms and Conditions prior to inserting your card details for payment.

What payment methods do you accept?

Our stores accept cash, Eftpos or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Diners and AMEX).

For online purchases we accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners, AMEX and PayPal. Please note that Gift Cards cannot be redeemed online and used to pay for online purchases.

A credit card surcharge of 1.9% applies when using Diners and AMEX.

Does Freedom offer interest free terms?
Yes, for instore purchases we offer a range of payment options like “12 months nothing to pay”, “24 months interest free” and “36 and 48 months interest bearing”. You can find more details here. Or why not ask instore for details? There are some conditions that apply.

We do not offer interest free terms for online purchases.
Who can help me with a particular product query?

The team in your closest store will be happy to help you with product information. Or give us a call on 1300 135 588.

Should I measure things up before I come in to buy blinds or furniture?

Yes please! If you’re buying furniture then we recommend that you measure not only the space where it will go, but also the entrance to your home and the way in to the room. For blinds, you need accurate measurements of the window before you buy.

When does my Note of Credit expire?

Your Note of Credit will have an expiry date printed underneath the heading "Note of Credit". If you can’t find the date, give us a call on 1300 135 588.

Can I get someone to assemble my furniture for me?

Yes we can arrange to have someone put everything together for you. Just ask when you’re buying your furniture or give us a call on 1300 135 588.

Gift Cards

Can I order a Gift Card online?

Currently you are only able to purchase one gift card per transaction online. Should you desire to purchase multiple gift cards, please email us and we will contact you directly to assist. Postage will only be charged once if more than one Gift Card is purchased at the same time.

Is there a Freedom Gift Card?

Yes there is, and the lucky person you give it to can use it any of the Freedom or Freedom Home stores around Australia. Get the details here.

What about corporate gifts?

We offer a Freedom Corporate Gift Card that’s a great way to say thank you to your suppliers, staff or clients. Choose any denomination between $10 and $1000. Corporate clients may be able to get a discount on bulk purchases. Get the details here.

Do gift cards expire?

Yes our gift cards expire 12 months after the date of issue.

My Gift Card, Voucher or Note of Credit has expired. Can I still redeem it?

No, Gift Cards, Gift Vouchers, Discount Vouchers and Notes of Credit can only be redeemed before the expiry date.

Freedom no longer offers a bridal registry, but we do have a Gift Fund your guests can contribute to. You can then spend the proceeds on something that’s perfect for you.

Why can’t I purchase all of the products that are shown on your website?

At present a selection of our goods only are available for purchase online. We intend to extend this in the future. Currently our online shopping experience does not include all of the products shown on our website due to the large and varied range that Freedom has available. We have selected an array of our popular homewares and furniture items and hope to soon move into selling a more comprehensive selection from the whole Freedom product offering.

Can I find all Freedom products on this website?

We try to display as much of our range as possible online, but with so many different things, and new pieces arriving all the time, we simply can’t show our entire range. If you can’t find something you’re looking for, why not visit your local Freedom store.

How do I change my postcode on the website?

You can change your postcode at the bottom of every page in the change postcode box.

How can I get a copy of the latest Freedom catalogue?

Easy! Drop in store for a free copy, while stocks last - our catalogue is always popular. You can also view it online here or download a copy.

What software do I need to download the catalogue?

You need Adobe Acrobat Reader. It’s a free plug-in that you can download here. Each catalogue is quite big and may take some time to download, so you may prefer to look at it online.

Purchasing Online

How do I purchase online?

If you would like to purchase a product which has an orange “Buy Now” button on it, click on “Add to Cart” to add it to your shopping cart. You can add as many products as you like to your shopping cart, and edit the quantities and products by clicking on “View cart” in the top right hand corner of the page. When you would like to proceed to payment, click on the Check out button to finalise your purchase order. If you are interested in purchasing a product which is either out of stock online, or doesn’t have an orange “Buy now” button, please click on the “Order Request” button and one of our friendly sales representatives will contact you to place the order over the phone.

Can I change or cancel my purchase order after I have finalised the sale?

If you wish to cancel an order made online you may do so within 24 hours of placing it by sending an email to us at onlinesales@freedom.com.au.

Unfortunately after this 24 hour period, you will not be able to modify or cancel your purchase if you simply change your mind. 

Please ensure that when shopping online, that only the items that you wish to purchase are present in your shopping cart, prior to confirming your purchase.

How do I obtain my order information if I have misplaced the one that I received by email at time of purchase?

Using the email address and password you provided when placing your order, please log into My Freedom and go to My Orders. To have your tax invoice resent to you, please email us at onlinesales@freedom.com.au.

Can I make an online purchase and request that my purchase be delivered to an address other than my own?

Freedom is happy to deliver your purchase to an address other than your own.  On delivery the item/s purchased will need to be signed for. Due to this we are unable to deliver to PO Box numbers.

Who do I contact if I require help or have any questions about online purchasing with Freedom?

Please contact our Freedom Customer Care team at onlinesales@freedom.com.au. Our friendly team will contact you within 2 business days to assist.  In order to process your enquiry with speed and accuracy, we request that all enquiries contain your online purchase order number and a contact phone number.

Are my credit card details secure?

We want you to feel confident that your personal details are secure when buying products online at Freedom.com.au. The security of the transmission of your credit card details is very important to us, which is why all payments transmitted between your browser and Freedom.com.au are fully automated and directly transferred from your credit card to Freedom’s merchant account. All transactions are performed over an encrypted 256 bit SSL connection secured by VeriSign and your credit card number cannot by viewed by Freedom or any outside party.

Freedom uses ANZ eGate payment gateway to process of all credit card transactions, providing a safe and secure means of online payment.

Can I purchase furniture online?

Yes, depending on which area of Australia you wish to have your items delivered to. Please see our section below on Delivering your items for more details.

Do you deliver to my area?

To find out about our delivery areas please see the table below, give us a call on 1300 135 588 or contact your nearest store directly.

Unfortunately we are currently unable to deliver large items to all locations Australia Wide. If you are currently located in a non deliverable area we will endeavour to assist you with your purchase, please contact freedom online sales on 1300 135 588 (select option 4). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

How much will I have to pay for delivery?

Delivery costs will vary depending on what you’ve ordered, where you have ordered from and where you want it to be delivered to. We can tell you how much the delivery will cost when you buy your furniture. Weekday metro deliveries start at $80 (excluding SA metro deliveries, which start at $65).

How long will it take to get my products?

It depends on what you’ve ordered and where you want it delivered. We’ll give you a delivery date when you buy your furniture.

How do I get an update on my delivery time?

Delivering your items - online purchases (buy now)

How will my items be delivered?
Please note that products that are available as “Buy now” online will either be delivered to you via Australia Post or our Home Delivery Service dependent on the size of the item purchased. Please see breakdown below:

Australia Post (Homewares Postage): All small “Buy now” homewares items will be shipped via Australia Post.  The postage charge and estimated delivery time will depend on where your order is being shipped to, and may be changed from time to time.

Home Delivery Service (Furniture Delivery): All “Buy now” furniture items will be delivered to you via our Home Delivery Service.  Furniture items that require a Delivery will display an “estimated up to 6 weeks delivery leadtime” under the “add to cart” button. Once your order has been placed, you will be contacted within 2 business days by a member of our online sales team to confirm a delivery time frame.
Do you deliver to my area?

Our current delivery areas for “Buy now” items are set out in the table below.

Please note we cannot guarantee delivery to all postcodes Australia wide. If you are located in a non deliverable area we will endeavour to assist you with your purchase. Please contact Freedom online sales on 1300 135 588 to discuss.

How much will I have to pay for delivery and how long will it take for my order to arrive?

For items delivered by Australia Post, the postage charge and estimated delivery time will depend on where your order is being shipped to.

For items delivered by our Home Delivery Service, weekday metro deliveries currently start at $80 (excluding SA metro deliveries, which start at $65).

Please note that an estimated delivery lead time for our furniture items delivered via our Home Delivery Service of up to 6 weeks applies, and that one of our friendly online sales team will be in touch within 2 business days after you have placed your order online to confirm the delivery timeframe.

How do I get an update on my delivery time?
For items delivered via Australia Post, you will be emailed a link to Australia Post’s tracking facility once your goods have been dispatched from Freedom.  Should you have any issues with tracking your goods, please email us your concerns and we will happily assist.

For items delivered via our Home Delivery Service, we will contact you the day before your scheduled delivery to confirm the time frame and delivery details, or alternatively you can contact us on 1300 135 588 or onlinesales@freedom.com.au.
Could there be changes to delivery areas, costs and times?

Delivery areas, costs and times may change from time to time. Please make sure you check our delivery information whenever you are considering placing a new order. 

Cancellations and Returns

Can I order a replacement for a discontinued line?

We carry spare parts for discontinued items where possible. To check if we have the parts you need, give us a call on 1300 135 588.

Can I return my order, or cancel my order if I change my mind?

As set out under the heading “Can I change or cancel my purchase order after I have finalised the sale” above, if you wish to cancel an order made online you may do so within 24 hours of placing it by sending an email to us at onlinesales@freedom.com.au.
